But you can find me here,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, mostly because I’ve moved on to a more work related blog… where I don’t blog about work. But you can find me here, if you’d like to.

This blog was probably set up as a sort of self healing, since that was what I needed at the time. I may post more from time to time, but when the weather gets cooler.

Thanks for sticking, and the new follows. :)

xo,

My first animigurumi, minus a couple of mini mock versions. The pattern was adopted from Amigurumi World - Seriously Cute Crochet by Ana Paula Riomli. There was a lot of mix and matching of the monkey and the bear and some improvisation in order to have gotten what I wanted.
I gave mine a pair of exposed undies. Exactly how I’d like to walk around in this incredibly hot spring weather..

Hopefully the weather has been just as amazing on your end.

Short Short Stories: ,

Back when I took creative writing and devoured Murakami’s books at night, I wrote a handful of short stories and short short stories. This is one of them,

the nights where i cannot sleep, i spend thinking of the homes that i’ve never lived in, of the places that i’ve never been to, and the lovers that i forgot to love deeply.

i can sometimes feel the warm breeze from these places, throwing back my hair into gentle knots. and the faint smell of cut bread waiting on someone’s dining table - it’s mild sweetness knocking me to my knees.

no, this isn’t desire at all. it is something that comes naturally, without control, stripped of all reasons, of all expectations.

during these times, i let things unfold as they are supposed to. these are times at their purest.

NO.34

It’s been a busy reading week - snowboarding, sleepovers, Minecraft. I wish I had photos to prove it all…, but I don’t! BUT, I wanted to show you what I’ve been crocheting ever since I picked up those balls of wool randomly. They are indeed mini hats! They’ll be debuting at the OCAD U Zine Fair this Thursday 1-6PM - come visit!

And those earrings (!), I was lucky enough to receive as a gift. They twist in amazing ways depending on the ear that they’re being worn. Sweet times!

NO.33 - 1:59AM

Part two of my valentine’s day post as promised. Still sick from my cold, but I wanted to show you the rest of what I took from yesterday!

In order, a hand-painted vday card for a secret lover, a bundle of delish sweets from Jenn (I’m afraid I ate all of the contents inside !), so the next two are some cool effects I ended up getting with the wrapper. Lastly, Ness’s heart of awesomeness - it knows.
